From the President....

Hello Hudson Valley Chapter Members,

It might be a little hard to believe but spring is finally on the way. Our annual winter banquet and meeting was held at The Riedlbauer's Resort, in Round Top, N.Y. due to your many requests. We had a good show of members and a nice time. February 2015 ended another Hudson Valley Chapter three year term of officers, making for a well attended meeting with elections. Summing things up at our evenings final outcome, we look forward to working alongside our new Vice President, Jim Jerosz from Croton on The Hudson, N.Y., Treasurer, Peter Giordano from Goshen, N.Y., Membership Chairperson, Robert Sigond from Voorheesville, N.Y. Yours truly will remain on board as president with an open door to offer my assistance to anyone interested in following up with this position in the near future. Other chapter positions to fill are secretary, and editor. Again, anyone interested can be assisted along until they feel confident to move ahead on their own with their own agendas. Check our HVC website for a list of many events/happening 2015 in our area as I'm sure something will strike your interest; amca-hudsonvalleychapter.org. In May there is a Poker Run in Poughkeepsie, NY to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. In June we have a Classic Motorcycle Ride in Oakhill, NY to benefit the Oakhill Fire Dept. and our Rhinebeck National AMCA Meet. July-August-September many will be vacationing with family, riding and enjoying summer. Of course we have Regional and National AMCA events that insure enough vintage interactive activity to satisfaction. This year, we will have our annual picnic at The Sorjourner Truth Park, Saugerties, N.Y. in September. Our last Sunday of the months of April, May, July, October, and November(holiday buffet), a social get together at Motorcyclepedia, Steve McQueen's room from 3-5 will be held. It is an  informal atmosphere with refreshments and lite snacks offered. Two next official club meetings will be held May and November tentatively. Last but not least I would like to welcome our new members to Hudson Valley Chapter collectively and thank all  who renew their HVC membership for 2015. I will be signing off for now. Will be looking forward in seeing everyone really soon.

Respectfully Yours,

Dan Henke -  HVC President
