Camper Regulations

The Dutchess County Fairgrounds has plenty of parking and room for camping.

Showers are available for all campers.

Additional fees apply for RV hookups,

 hookups are included in the fee whether or not you use them.

 

And for those who want to get into the meet on Thursday...   The Vendors Gate of the Rhinebeck National will be open to VENDORS and EXHIBITORS  FOR SETUP ONLY on Thursday AT 12.00 PM. Also RV and AMCA Tent Camping Opens. NO EARLY BIRDS or General Admission for the Swap Meet, The Swap Meet Opens 8 AM Friday! This is mandated by the Dutchess County Fairgrounds and out of our control.  This will be strictly enforced this year and you will be turned away without vendor identification.

The following fees are required by the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, these fees are collected by the Fairgrounds Staff at the Vendors Gate, these fees have nothing to do with the AMCA

 

1.     Non Venders RV Camping  Fee is $35.00/night which includes electric, sewage, showers and water.

2.     RV Camping Fees for Vendors in their vending spots is $25.00/night with limited electric hookups.

3.     Non Camping Vendor electric is limited and costs $25.00 for the whole weekend.

4.     No Pets

5.     No tents outside camping area allowed, must be within 300 feet of bathrooms or port-a-johns. (New York State Regulations)

6.     Awnings must be 5 feet away from neighboring awning or camper. Awnings cannot be out all the way if there is not enough room or they may not be put out at all.

7.     No liquids of any kind are to be dumped or poured onto the ground.

8.     Please make sure all hose fittings are tight to prevent leaks or sprays.

9.     No open flames (this includes candles); but barbecue or gas grills are acceptable for use.

10. Vacuum breakers must be left on water spigots.

11. Non Vending AMCA Members may camp in their tents for free

 

 

Anyone caught violating the above rules will be asked to leave immediately. The above regulations are imposed by the Dutchess County Department of Health. The campers will be charged a $1000.00 fee for any violation that is incurred within the camping area. The camper registrant will be responsible for paying this fee.
