Welcome to the debut of our Rhinebeck Grand National Super Meet. 2007 prove to be one very exciting
preliminary event, far exceeding any expectations we had at the time. Our Northeast Coalition of AMCA chapters; Big Sandbar,
Colonial, Empire, Hudson Valley, Seaboard and Yankee may now boast of having the Largest Antique Motorcycle Show and Swap
Meet in the northeast. We are pleased again to present another history making congregation of many various marques, all brought
about by our all new AMCA format. Our overall goal with Rhinebeck has been to continue to bring about major improvements
throughout this event above and beyond AMCA events gone by.Starting here in 2008 the new primary objective will be to feature
a solid two day massive show Saturday and all day Sunday! Yes all day with AMCA judging for morning and an antique classic
motorcycle auction for the afternoon! Again I say massive,
along with our Rhinebeck timeline exhibit of continuous motorcycles from 1890's to 1973. We will also feature a
special AMCA period modified display, with a special tribute to Ed Big Daddy Roth, world famous artist, custom bike and car
builder of the 1960's. If you love old bobbers and choppers this one for you. Several pin stripe artists have come
to pay tribute and will be working on site for your enjoyment. Our Rhinebeck team being great proponents in supporting our
young bike builders have gone to work with American Iron Magazine. This worldwide publication, now for the first time here
at Rhinebeck, will sponsor its own pre Evo American Custom Bike Show. American Iron participates will receive editor's
choice awards as well as possible magazine coverage in their up and coming features. In addition American Iron Magazine
will also offer editor's choice awards to three machines of each decade on the Rhinebeck timeline. Our ongoing motorcycle
show continues with our good friends the Indian 101 Club, the British Iron of CT. and we now graciously received the folks
with the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. To sum this all up will be another wonderful showing from our friends with the
Morgan Three Wheelers, A Racer Display covering all Types of Racing and last but not least the Badgers all the way from
the state of Wisconsin. Now for the young folks and the
young at heart,we will feature the Cody Ives Globe of Death and Extreme Cycle Jump Show. These young folks can really mix
things up, don't miss them. Our ongoing gear head line up continues with constant running action fron our friends with
the Antique Tractor and Machinery Club. Combined with the Century Museum and the Mid Hudson Chapter of the Antique
Truck Club of America, these folks truely enhance our family oriented entertainment. Just in case you haven't had enough
our friends with the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome will perform with their WW1 Aeroplanes in the sky above the fairgrounds. Our
AMCA banquet will be 6:00pm, Saturday evening located up at building "E". Tickets are on sale at the AMCA chapter's
display booth. Our very special guest speaker for the evening will be Jean Davidson, granddaughter of Harley Davidson founder
Walter Davidson Sr. Jean will warm your heart with her wonderful stories of growing up Harley. And for all AMCA Members
at 6PM Friday Night the Great Folks at Woodstock Harley Davidson will be hosting a Welcome party at their Dealership, a short
15 minute ride from the fairgrounds, see the AMCA Chapter Pavillion Headquarters located in Building "A" on
Friday for more Details on where to Meet for the Ride to Woodstocks Party! Again
please keep in mind this is a two day all day event; our Sunday being packed with ongoing bike shows, AMCA judging and the
afternoon East Coast International Classic Motocycle Auction; another nice feature in summing up our event. So stay and enjoy
the excitement. To some folks our new Rhinebeck venue may seem somewhat out of the norm. We are proud to claim this and will
continue to hold this very high standard long into the future. All of us with the AMCA feel priviledged to be back here
again on these prestine Dutchess County Fairgrounds where we can continue to improve in our future. To sum this up I must personally thank my close working associates in the entire Rhinebeck
project. Tim Talleur and Kate Lange, Tim Cantele, Mark Germond, Steve Ciccalone, Steve Barber and Tedd Doering, without the
help of these wonderful people along with all our great volunteers there would be no Rhinebeck.
Respectfully Yours,
Dan Henke Chairman
